About Your Role:

Affinity is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Director, Product Management with experience in working with business intelligence (BI) platforms. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the development and launch of our new self-serve BI platform. The ideal candidate comes from a client-centric product team and has experience building data analytic solutions in a BI environment that delivers on marketing use cases.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and define a world-class BI platform designed to help marketers and their partners optimize outcomes and build engagement with their customer base
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation all the way through to build and enhancement; provide recommendations and actively contribute to ongoing improvement, innovation, and future growth potential of the product
  • Directly engage with existing and prospective clients to gather feedback on their BI platform use cases to ensure our platform targets the highest priority problems and provides effective solutions
  • Define product requirements, create comprehensive product documentation, and establish clear roadmaps so that internal and external stakeholders are clear on short-term and long-term goals
  • Work closely with senior product leaders and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering and marketing to ensure understanding of effort level, resource needs, and dependencies required for effective planning and predictable delivery
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to maximize the ROI on product and engineering efforts

Your Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of product management experience at an ad tech company or media/advertising company with strong first-party data assets
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience building user-friendly applications and platforms for media measurement, audience activation, and optimization
  • Experience working with consumer-based transactional data and building data products, preferably for ad tech use cases
  • Track record of successful product delivery from inception to launch
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex data problems, ability to craft analytical solutions, and experience working with large data sets
  • Comfort working with engineers on deeply technical topics; able to understand the interplay between business requirements and technical capabilities and effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with and leading cross-functional groups including Sales, Account Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists and Analysts

Salary Range: $160,000 – $175,000
Office Hours: 9 am–5:30 pm
